After working at five different companies that use Slack, I’ve realised that within an engineering culture, there’s also a Slack culture.
Having encountered the overuse of the @here, or @eveyone, I can attest to this, that it is overused. It should only be used sparingly, so that it really has the impact you need when you actually need it.
Yes, and if a person is looking for input, it’s better to tag the relevant people to minimise the impact.
